Her impressive credentials across a Biomedical Science Degree , Strength & Conditioning training, Pilates qualification and EXOS Performance Mentoring ensures that her extensive experience within the fitness industry is complimented by her unique scientifically minded approach, one that goes beyond standard trainer levels.
Ellen has always been inquisitive and wanted to know ‘how something works’ before jumping into it herself, this personality trait has allowed her to really scrutinise training programs, nutritional theories and recovery methods. Being the resident geek at ION, she is constantly challenging what we deliver as gospel to our clients.
Balance is key for Ellen. This allows her to relate with many of our female clients who want to train hard but also want to be able to live a balanced lifestyle which allows for flexibility in their diet and training frequency.
